Sherri Liu studied illustration at Syracuse University for BFA and received her Master of Arts in art education from Boston University. Sherri’s work engages illustration, graphic design, children’s books and digital art. Sherri’s research devotes to the use of art therapy and focuses on exploring the combination of Eastern and Western art in art education.
In 2014, Sherri was volunteered as cultural ambassador in Hans Christian Anderson Museum in Odense, Denmark, where she abtained inspirations of Children’s books, and later achieved design awards in Syracuse University. In 2018, Sherri attented career talk of Education department in Harvard University, and then started her career in art education. In 2020, Sherri was invited by Chinese artist Chen Danqing (陈丹青) to the art exibition named ”Xuyan’s Beijing” in her art journey.
